James is cooking goat on the Asado Fire Pit at the St Ives Food and Drink Festival on 10-12 May. Ross Geach of Padstow Kitchen Garden is hosting the demo with James plus cooking from Steven Lamb (River Cottage) and Jackson Bristow (Nancarrow Farm).
The Asado Fire Pit brings the thrill of authentic outdoor cooking over fire and invites top chefs to share their skills on this very different stage. Tom Bray of Country Fire Kitchen says fire cooking is “a really brilliant way to cook for families and large groups and can be done anywhere, from the beach to your back garden.”
